Differences
Animal farm kicked the owner (Mr.Jones) out of the farm, and they build communism society after seizing it.As time goes by, they become rulers of the society and oppressed sovereign.
A background of Zhivago is also the beginning of socialism's revolution. They take a risk of their lives to start a revolution, and form social structures they really aspired, but their existence eventually have come to be another depressor who control majoruty of community.
Wars, secrets and lies end up being a means of ruling.

I think It reminds me the times Korea was under Japan colonial and Animal farm is very difficult .
